Tsvetelina Mihailova, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and CEO of Axiom Insurance Company, has been granted the prestigious Business Woman of the Year Award in the “Insurance” category.

The ceremony honoured some of the most successful women leaders in various industries who have demonstrated innovation, sustainability and vision. The event highlighted the significant contribution of women in business and their role in the development of the economy. Leading women entrepreneurs and managers shared their inspiring stories and achievements.

Receiving this award is a great pride for our entire team and shows that we as a company do not stop moving forward and growing. The Business Woman of the Year event was held at the prestigious C’EST LA VIE club and was organized by the Women’s Entrepreneurship Network ” Business on High Hills” and the awards are designed to recognize the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of these women in a wide range of business categories.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, the French – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with its partners from Ipsos and NAOS and with the support of the Embassy of France in Bulgaria, is organizing a survey aimed at promoting the professional development of women in various industries in Bulgaria, by examining the opportunities and challenges for career development, employer-employee relations, relations with business partners, promoting talent within the organization, and balancing work and personal life.

The study will focus on the needs of working-age women in the country, it will measure the forms of discrimination against them, identify obstacles to more active participation in economic life and the barriers that women face in their career development and will gather practical ideas on what businesses can do to ensure gender equality, supporting women in their search for work-life balance. The results of the study will also serve as a basis for future discussions on options for legislative changes that would further promote gender equality.

Responses will be completely anonymous, allowing participants to share their views on various aspects of professional growth, workplace culture and relationships, and personal experiences.

Presentation of the report: April 23, 2025 at a Press Conference at the Embassy of France.

The nominations for the Top 100 women in business for 2025 index are now open. The top 100 women in business is part of the Career Show Index initiative, which aims to recognize the most successful and inspiring professionals in various business fields. To that end, what has become known as “the most feminine month of the year” has been selected to showcase Bulgaria’s female leaders and their most significant achievements nationwide. 

The index’s inaugural edition takes outstanding examples to shine a light on gender equality in business, especially among C-suite executives. By placing female leaders in the spotlight along with their remarkable achievements, courtesy of their perseverance, innovation, and leadership skills, the initiative facilitates a more equal working environment.  

The index is accepting nominations for female leaders and managers, regardless of their exact position and area of expertise, such as:

As of March 1, 2025, the BCause Foundation has a new logo. Rinker Center and Platformata.bg are also adopting a new visual identity.

The organization is distinguished by curiosity and creativity, by quickly adopting new ideas and turning them into working solutions. Over the years, BCause has created numerous programs, initiatives, funds, projects and platforms – each with its own look and aspiration to be recognizable.

Two of thier key initiatives have developed significantly: Platformata.bg, established in 2015, will soon celebrate its tenth anniversary, and Rinker Center for Entrepreneurship and Training celebrated its tenth anniversary last year. Although they have specific areas of activity, they work in synergy and in fulfillment of BCause’s mission: To encourage people, organizations and communities to transform lives by developing philanthropy and social investments.

That is why BCause has decided to emphasize the connection between thier grown and established projects through a unified visual identity.

Thus, the BCause Foundation family now has a unified look.

They kept the spiral from the BCause logo from 2016 as a symbol of continuity and development, but simplified the design and updated the colors. In this process, BCause trusted Iliyan Nachev, who successfully transformed their idea into a new logo. On this basis, he also created the logos of Platforma.bg and the Rinker Center.

Behind the visual changes are also technological ones.

Over the past two years, the BCause Foundation has invested heavily in donation management systems to speed up processes, make them more secure, and make reporting easier. They have developed modules that will make it easier for both donors and organizations that raise funds.

As of 2nd February 2025, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) requires companies to provide training for employees who use AI in their work. Starting in August 2025, non-compliance with these regulations will result in penalties.
