On 16 January the Ambassador Rob Dixon hosted the inaugural UK-Bulgaria roundtable on microelectronics and semiconductors with the participation of the Minister of Economy Bogdan Bogdanov. The UK’s Semiconductor Strategy aligns with Bulgaria’s emerging industry in the semiconductor manufacturing and design. Additional visits were organised for the UK delegation, including Sofia Tech Park, Teletek Electronics JSC, MELEXIS and Globalfoundries.
