On October 16, BBBA held its Annual General Meeting in Novotel Hotel Sofia.
The guests were warmly welcomed by H.E. Nathaniel Copsey, newly appointed British Ambassador to Bulgaria. The event was opened by BBBA Chair Mrs. Miroslava Kostadinova, who highlighted the main development of BBBA for the past 12 months and expressed her gratitude to the members for their engagement with BBBA’s activities.
The General Meeting proceeded with a presentation by Desislava Miteva, BBBA Executive Director, of our results from the past year, and our plans for BBBA strategic development , followed by a vote for the presented financial results and 2025 budget. All proposed changes were accepted by BBBA Members.
The most expected part of the evening was the elections of two board members, who had the opportunity to present their ideas on how they would contribute to BBBA.
As a result of the votes of all present BBBA members, we would like to welcome to the BBBA Board of Directors Diana Pazaitova, Fama Consulting who was re-elected for second term serving the BBBA Board, and we are delighted to welcome Martin Dimitrov, Wealthlock.
Congratulations to them! We wish them a productive mandate and we are looking forward to working closely with them.
We would like to thank the other Board Member candidates for their dedication and commitment – Anelia Todorova, Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, Deyan Blagoev, Sciant, Ivan Armianov, Tangra, and Maya Milanova, Flow Logic.
We are also excited to welcome our new BBBA UK Ambassadors Martyn Smith, Baringa, Hristo Popov, Theoremus, and Denitsa Dimitrova, Kambourov and Partners.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Martyn Smith for his service on the Board as our Vice Chair over the last two years and his dedication to BBBA and its members. We trust they will continue to actively participate in BBBA activities going forward.
