We are delighted to announce the fifth edition of the Great British Charity Quiz — and for the second consecutive year, it returns in its festive Christmas Edition!
Join The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Bulgaria (The Award), in partnership with the British Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (BBCC) and the British Embassy in Sofia, for an evening filled with good cheer, friendly competition and a shared commitment to a worthy cause.
Continuing a much-loved tradition, H.E. Mr Nathaniel Copsey, British Ambassador to Bulgaria, will once again graciously welcome guests to the British Residence in Sofia for this special event. We are excited to announce that H.E. Copsey and Tony McMurray, Chair of the Award’s Honorary Trust
will enter the role of quizmasters!

Participation fee: BGN 150 / EUR 76.69 per person

About the Cause
This year, the Great British Charity Quiz supports an inspiring initiative – providing scholarships for young people to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
Funds raised will help us reach and support youth from remote and under-resourced areas, giving them the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop essential life skills, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, and realise their full potential.
By joining this year’s Quiz, you will help open doors for more young people across Bulgaria to find their purpose and build brighter futures – for themselves and their communities.

As part of our ongoing tradition, BBCC members will enjoy a 10% discount on individual and team registrations using promo code BBCC10.
A welcome drink and refreshments are included in the participation fee.
Alongside the quiz, guests will enjoy a charity raffle and silent auction featuring exciting prizes, generously donated by partners and supporters of the Award in Bulgaria.
Advance registration is required, as space is limited to 80 participants.
Registration deadline: Monday, 1 December 2025, or upon reaching full capacity.
Guests are invited to arrive from 6:00 PM for pre-quiz networking and a festive welcome drink.
