Ahead of the UN climate conference COP26 in Glasgow, businesses across the world have pledged to achieve net zero emissions as part of the UN Race to Zero Campaign. Sourcing renewable energy is a vital step for businesses to reduce their emissions. Renewables can also provide businesses with cheaper and more reliable energy if the right policy frameworks are in place. In a private setting, this workshop will allow businesses to learn about options for corporate renewable energy sourcing. Business leaders from Central and Eastern Europe will provide first-hand experience on how to set and implement climate and renewable energy targets and how membership of business initiatives which are part of the UN Race to Zero Campaign helps them reach their goals.
When: Wednesday, 20 October 2021,
What time: 14:00-16:00 CET,
