Despite being in force for over a year in Bulgaria, the Whistleblower Protection Legislation remains overlooked. The Bulgarian act establishes vital principles, advocating for a crucial “speak-up culture” within corporations.

Awaiting approval from the local lawmakers, additional legislative amendments promise to pave the way for a more transparent business environment, discouraging acts of wrongdoing.
