The Career Forum of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” has established itself over the years as a successful initiative that helps students and pupils take their first steps towards their professional development. The tenth anniversary edition of our traditional career forum is entitled “From Knowledge to Success”.
This year, the career forum will be held on 19 May from 11:00 to 18:00 on the campus of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University in Sofia at 125 Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd., Block 3.
The event is co-organised by the Business Club and the Association of Graduates of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University.
The program includes the placement of company exhibition stands of employers partnering with the Faculty of Economics. The new co-working space in the faculty will be available to participating companies, where blitz interviews with potential candidates can be held. The event is free to attend, both for students of the Faculty of Economics and for students and pupils from other educational institutions.
Conditions for participation in the event for employers
In return for the paid participation fee in the Career Forum 10.0, employers receive:
- Exhibition space, where they can place their own branded stand and up to two company banners;
- Use of the modern co-working space at the Faculty of Economics for conducting blitz interviews;
- Positioning of the company logo on the Career Centre website and in the centre’s social networks;
- Publication of a specialised article prepared by the participating company on the Career Centre blog on the topic “My career in (company name)”;
Before the event, we will organise a registration form for students looking for work. The companies that will participate in the forum will be announced at the forum. In the form, students will be able to attach their CV, contact email, names, major, and course and will be able to mark companies they are interested in, after which we will connect you with interested candidates.
Only chairs can be provided upon prior request.
Distribution of the stands at the career forum in Sofia on May 19:
- Under the canopy of the central entrance of the Faculty of Economics, in the central lobby and under the tents in the garden in front of the central entrance – 700 euros including VAT (total 18 stands)
- Donation wall (between the canopy and the central lobby of the faculty) – price 250 euros including VAT (total 2 stands)
- Staircase between 1st (ground floor) and 2nd floor – price 500 euros including VAT (total 2 stands)
- Floor 1 (ground floor) – East corridor to the Social Room – price 400 euros including VAT (total 9 stands)
- Floor 1 (ground floor) – West corridor – price 300 euros including VAT (total 4 stands)
- Foyer on floor 2, floor 3 and fl. 4 – price 500 euros including VAT (total 15 stands)
- Staircase between 2 and 3 fl. and between 3 and 4 fl. – price 400 euros including VAT (total 4 stands)
Discounts in the participation fee:
Companies with which the Faculty of Economics has a bilateral cooperation agreement benefit from a discount of 20% of the amount.
This year’s cause, to be financed with funds raised at the forum, is the renovation and equipping of a hall at the Faculty of Economics.

- selected group of stands, and please add 1 reserve category of stands, in case the first choice is already fully occupied;
