The BBCC team would like to express our gratitude to Dennitsa Dimitrova, Managing Partner at Kambourov & Partners – Tax Consulting and UK Ambassador of the British Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (BBCC), who over the past two years has actively contributed to strengthening the business relationship between Bulgaria and the United Kingdom.

Her role as UK Ambassador of BBCC goes beyond representing the Chamber at individual events. It is centred on a broader objective: connecting businesses, investors and professional communities in the two markets and helping turn these connections into practical opportunities for cross-border growth.

Through her regular presence in London and participation in key BBCC, investment and professional initiatives, Dennitsa has helped promote Bulgaria as an attractive destination for British companies looking to invest, establish operations or identify local partners. At the same time, she has supported the BBCC’s efforts to give Bulgarian companies greater visibility and access to the UK market, its professional networks, investors and business community.

Among the important occasions bringing these communities together have been the BBCC Summer Networking Receptions at the Bulgarian Embassy in London in 2024, 2025 and 2026. These events have developed into an important meeting point for Bulgarian businesses, UK-based professionals, investors and members of the wider Bulgarian community. Kambourov & Partners and Dennitsa have been long-standing supporters of these initiatives, with the firm also sponsoring the receptions.

A particularly important milestone was the Invest in Bulgaria Forum 2025 in London, organised by BBCC together with the Bulgarian Embassy in London, the British Embassy in Sofia and Invest Bulgaria Agency. The forum brought together investors, business leaders and institutional representatives to discuss opportunities in technology, manufacturing, energy and other strategic sectors. Dennitsa moderated the panel dedicated to Technology & Microelectronics: The Ecosystem of Innovation and Talent, contributing to the dialogue around Bulgaria’s investment potential and its position within the European business landscape.

Her activities in London also extend to the wider British and international professional community. In January 2026, Dennitsa participated in the 15th Annual London Finance and Capital Markets Tax Conference, one of the international tax community’s established forums for discussing developments affecting investment, financing and cross-border business.

In May 2026, she represented BBCC alongside Board Member Gilbert McCaul at Andy Haldane CBE’s inaugural President’s Lunch at the House of Lords. The event brought together representatives of Chambers and businesses from across the British Chambers of Commerce network and provided another opportunity to strengthen BBCC’s connections within the wider UK business ecosystem.

Taken together, these engagements reflect the wider purpose of the BBCC’s work in the UK: creating an effective bridge between the Bulgarian and British business communities. This means not only promoting investment, but also connecting companies with the right advisers, institutions, partners and networks needed when entering a new market.

As UK Ambassador of BBCC, Dennitsa continues to support this mission by combining her international business and tax experience with an active network across both countries. Whether the objective is a Bulgarian company considering expansion into the UK or a British business exploring opportunities in Bulgaria, the aim remains the same: to make cross-border business connections easier, more informed and more effective. This approach closely reflects the BBCC’s broader Expansion Bridge initiative, which supports companies and entrepreneurs seeking to develop their activities between Bulgaria and the UK.

Through sustained engagement, practical support and participation in some of the most relevant UK–Bulgaria business platforms, Dennitsa continues to contribute to a stronger, more connected and opportunity-driven business relationship between the two countries.
