On November 16, we held the Green Business is GREAT conference for the third consecutive year. This year we focused on three main angles which cover the ESG aspects and beyond, namely interaction among government, business, and society.

The event was opened by BBBA Chair Miroslava Kostadinova. We were delighted to hear welcome notes from the Minister of Environment and water Julian Popov, from the Deputy minister of Innovation and Growth Veselina Mincheva, from the Deputy minister of Economy Nikolay Pavlov, and the Deputy minister of energy Krasimir Nenov, and last but not least H.E. Rob Dixon, British Ambassador to Bulgaria. All highlighted the importance of such forums and the dialogue between business, government and society in order to achieve the ESG goals.

Guests had the opportunity to hear keynote presentation on ”Latest market and policy developments in the Southeastern European energy markets” by our guest lecturer Pavlos Trichakis, Baringa. Special thanks to Nikolay Bogdanov, Shell for telling us more about ”Shell Bulgaria’s small steps in the energy transition journey”.
