We have some incredible news to share with our amazing community of supporters, volunteers, and partners! At the recent Eurogroup for Animals Annual Conference in Brussels, CAAI was officially awarded the prestigious 2026 Campaign Award!
Why This Award Matters to CAAI
The Eurogroup for Animals network represents over 100 animal protection organizations across Europe and beyond. To be singled out for the Campaign Award among such a dedicated group of advocates is an immense honor.
This award recognizes CAAI’s relentless work over the past year to expose animal exploitation, including:
Investigations on animal cruelty: Uncovering severe cases of animal cruelty on both national and international levels.
Achieving Legislative Changes: Showing how CAAI’s targeted efforts to combat animal cruelty in Bulgaria contributed to significant change in legislation and gained international reach.
Winners on the European Stage
During the annual conference on June 22, 2026, the team took the stage to present and discuss our core campaign efforts. Over 130 representatives from around 100 member organizations participated in the final vote, choosing from five exceptional campaigns that made it to the finals.
Standing alongside such incredible activists and animal defenders proves that the voice for animals is stronger and more influential than ever. CAAI dedicate this award to all animals that have suffered from human cruelty, and thank their international peers and their local community deeply for this recognition!
