Why isn’t everyone talking about carbon removal? The latest IPCC Report says there is no way of keeping within 1.5 degrees of warming without eliminating carbon already in our atmosphere. Natural solutions alone are unlikely to be enough. Carbon-removing tech solutions need to be radically scaled at the same time.

That’s why Craig Cohon, a 59-year-old from Canada, has started an incredible walk – to drive a new global conversation about carbon removal. Craig has not only invested his pension fund ($1 Million!) into such solutions, but he is walking from London to Istanbul on foot (!) to raise awareness of the subject. Along the way, he is meeting mayors, CEOs, activists, scientists, and policymakers to discuss carbon removal opportunities and challenges.

While in Bulgaria, Craig joins forces with TEDxVitosha in a Salon edition like no other! Join them May 10th (Wed), 5 pm – 8 pm, to meet like-minded people ready to change the world and join one of Sofia’s most knowledgeable, socially responsible, and active communities of professionals.
