The annual meeting of business and society with power – Powers Summit, will be held in Sofia Tech Park.
Ministers, leaders of parliamentary parties, experts and representatives of the civil sector will meet in an open dialogue about the future of Bulgaria and Europe.

This year’s focus is on the topic of “Security” – in all its aspects, ranging from competitiveness and defense capabilities, through education and healthcare, to energy, financial and technological security. In an uncertain world, building secure states and alliances becomes critically important!

Called the “Bulgarian Davos” by the media, Powers Summit is Bulgaria’s independent platform through which industry and business leaders openly set their priorities before the government. The leaders of the parliamentary parties and representatives of the executive branch listen to them and make concrete and measurable commitments to find solutions.

The event is completely open and the commitments made are followed up for implementation afterwards – in front of the cameras and microphones of all significant media in the country, as well as in front of leading figures from the industry and representative organizations.
In each of the topics, the format of the event has 4 modules:

  • “The Industry Speaks” – here the industries from the topics state their common priorities and the solutions to achieve them.
  • “Business Leaders Speak” – partner companies present their solutions and speak on behalf of their company
  • “I Hear You” – the session in which the leaders of the parliamentaryly represented parties make commitments on what they heard. Only 3 minutes each and no political talking.
  • Ministerial session “I hear you” – the minister responsible for the topic shares in 3 minutes what he heard on behalf of the executive branch

Powers Summit is jointly organized by Webit Foundation and the National Digital Coalition, in partnership with leading industrial, employer and sector organizations, as well as non-governmental structures.
