The mission of the “Junior Sport” Foundation is to make sports desirable and modern again among young people. Junior Sport Foundation believes that sports, both inside and outside of school, are fundamental to the mental, emotional, and personal development of young people in Bulgaria. Their goal is to establish an annual tradition for celebrating Sports Day – May 17th. The ambition of the Junior Sport Foundation is to become a media platform for children and sports. Covering the School Games, where child journalists interview competing student athletes in inter-school competitions in 8 sports: basketball, volleyball, football, athletics, handball, chess, table tennis, and badminton.

Where: In front of Sofia Ring Mall and the IKEA parking lot
For children and teenagers aged between 6 and 18

  • Aikido
  • Chess
  • Canadian Wrestling
  • Relay Running

All games have a competitive nature, suitable for the different ages of the participants, and some even for the parents of the younger children. Each competition will have a prize fund, depending on the sponsors.

Singers and dancers from XS Artists will entertain the children and their parents on stage with the host Todor Docev – a unique artist from theater and cinema, who also has a club for organizing children’s parties.

The children’s cheerleading club will create a lively atmosphere between the competitions.
