On 18 October the concert “Transfigured Night”, organised with the support of Laura Ashley Bulgaria, will take place at Bulgaria Hall. You will hear works inspired by literary works, like George Meredith’s figurative poem “The Rising Lark”, whose aerial flight the composer transforms into music, and Schoenberg’s impressive “Enlightened Night”, inspired by the poetic images of Richard Demel.

When: 18 October, 7 PM
Where: Bulgaria Hall, Sofia

The concert will begin with the beloved “A Little Night Music” by Mozart, and the encore will feature bright excerpts from works by Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky.

An orchestra of friends – prominent musicians from the leading Bulgarian orchestras, united by their love of music and belief in the freedom of the spirit, will perform on stage
