A special concert by the musicians of QUARTO, including a world premiere of the first trio in classical sonata form by Konstantin Vladigerov from the world-famous “Vladigerov Brothers” and a Bulgarian premiere – “Piano Quartet” by one of the most original composers in the film industry Danny Elfman, recently created for the Berlin Philharmonic Quartet.

Recently, one of the most successful ensembles in the world, the Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet, premiered the piano quartet by one of the most popular film composers in the world – Danny Elfman.
Naturally, this event did not go unnoticed by the Bulgarian musicians from the Quarto Quartet, who scheduled the date of November 11, 2025 for the Bulgarian premiere of this remarkable work in the Bulgaria Concert Hall.
The concert will begin with the trio of Frederic Chopin, due to Elfman’s frequent references to Chopin. There is even a composition called “In Chopin’s Style” by Elfman. Also, the idea recently arose to write a completely new work for this concert, which would be a transition between Chopin and Elfman, but with a Bulgarian imprint.
The young Konstantin Vladigerov, long known not only for his family relationship with Pancho Vladigerov, but for his unique style of composition and jazz improvisations with elements of Bulgarian music, took up this task. With his duo “Wladigeroff Brothers” conquers the world stages, but not a single work in classical sonata form has been created yet, which we plan to change exactly on November 11 this year.
