We have the pleasure of inviting you to Italian Design Day 2022, an annual initiative launched in 2017 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their International Cooperation, to promote iconic Italian design around the world.
The event will take place on 29 March at 15:30 at the Sofia Event Center, organized by ICE – Sofia Agency, the Italian Embassy in Sofia, Confindustria Bulgaria and in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute.
The theme of this year’s Italian Design Day is Re-Generation, Design and new technologies for a sustainable future. The Guest of Honor of the event in Sofia will be the architect Alberto Maria Prina, who will present to the Bulgarian audience a special lecture-retrospective on Italian design and why it has managed to establish itself as a world-leading source of new trends in interior and product design.
The interior designer Elena Mustakova, part of the team of Ligna Group, which combines Italian education and Bulgarian creativity, will talk about the impact of Italian design on modern interior trends in Bulgaria.
Simultaneous translation in Italian and Bulgarian will be provided.
The event will feature a specially prepared exposition of Italian product and interior design, through which guests will be able to experience the Italian spirit and traditions in design.
The event will end with a networking cocktail reception with the wines kindly provided by Edoardo Miroglio winery.
