Avendi in partnership with the British Bulgarian Business Association have the pleasure to invite you to the most formal event of the year! Join us to celebrate the Scottish national day over a glass or two of whisky, special gala dinner, traditional Scottish bagpipes and dances. World renowned bartenders will mix special whisky cocktails for your welcome drink and a surprise secret host will take care for the good mood all night.
You will have the amazing opportunity to see authentic Scottish bagpiper, dancer and band who flew specially for the event all the way from Glasgow. You will also have the chance to learn how to do their dance moves!
A silent auction will take place at the event where you will have the chance to win special whisky bottle, weekend test drive of the Moto Pfohe or Land Rover car (the new Range Rover Sport will be presented at the event) and a beautiful painting by a famous Bulgarian artist Nikola Marinov.
The event will support a charity cause called ”The Great Teachers” (Великите даскали) aimed at improving the quality of education. You can learn more about the charity cause at the attachment below.

About our exceptional bartenders:
Nikolay Neykov – Brand Ambassador for Diageo’s premium portfolio and World Class, the world’s most prestigious bartending competition. He has participated in numerous professional spirits tasting courses and has received prestigious awards in mixology competitions at home and abroad.
Manol Lazarov- He won first place for Bulgaria in the prestigious and largest bartending competition in the world, World class. At the global finals in 2022 in Sydney, Australia, Malon entered in the top ten. For the first time in the scale of such an event a Bulgarian enters the top 10 of the best bartenders in the whole world.
About the whisky:
You will have the chance to taste 3 exquisite whiskies by Singleton. Just to spark your interest with one- you will be able to try Singleton 15 YO from which there are only a few bottles in Bulgaria! More about that whisky here. We will keep the rest a surprise.
About the band:
The Charlie Kirkpatrick Ceilidh Band is one of the most popular ceilidh bands in Scotland having appeared many times on the BBC Scotland programme Take the Floor and having been previously nominated in the Scottish Dance Band of the year category at the annual Trad Awards.
