The British Embassy is pleased to invite you to a free online seminar on “Technical guidelines for the movement of goods across small straits – from the EU to the UK, after 1 January 2022” (Short Straits Technical Webinar – Freight from EU – GB from 01 January 2022). The seminar will be held on Monday, November 8, 15: 00-17: 00 SET (16:00 Bulgarian time).
This event is for carriers, transport and logistics associations, customs brokers and freight forwarders, but also for all European companies that will send goods to the UK after January 1, 2022. During the seminar will be discussed:
- What all stakeholders in the supply chain need to know and do before leaving for the EU border, when crossing and arriving in the UK;
- The facilities and systems of the Inland border facilities in Kent – Great Britain (Inland border facilities) and the processes for crossing the border control;
- What to expect from all actors in the supply chain in connection with the forthcoming changes at the British border, which will take effect from 1 July 2022
After the presentations, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions to representatives of the British and French authorities.
