How technology can help the fight against the decay of truth, what are the latest studies telling us about earthquakes on the Balkans, where are the infrared eyes of the James Webb Telescope aimed at, will there be a pill to stop ageing, are batteries the right option for a sustainable development, what technology enabled the creation of a vowel sound from a 3,000 year old Mummy – these are just some of the topics which will be discussed by 16 international researchers and engineers at the Sofia Science Festival from 11 to 14 May at Sofia Tech Park. The Beautiful Science Foundation partners with the Ministry of Education & Science, Sofia Municipality, corporate companies, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, universities, international organisations and media, in this effort to make science and technology accessible to and engaging for a broad range of audiences. 22 of the 150 events will be delivered by internationally renowned speakers from Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Kenya, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, USA and the UK.
